Our Story
Because we believe — with the right guidance, anyone can speak English fluently.
It all started in 2012 at an International Conference on English Language Teaching conducted by ELTAI at VIT, Vellore. The atmosphere was electric — filled with passionate educators, motivated learners, and a vision for what English education could truly become.
But what sparked the idea for Kanis Language Solutions was the presidential address by the founder-chancellor of VIT, Dr.G.Viswanathan. In his heartfelt speech, he emphasized the urgent need to equip students with English communication skills — not just to pass exams, but to help them thrive during job interviews and in the global world. He expressed his willingness to reward any educator who could truly make that transformation possible for students. That call to action lit a fire in us.
We returned from the conference with a purpose: to create a place where learners of all backgrounds — whether a struggling schoolchild or a professional facing career blocks — could unlock the power of English.
And so, in 2017, Kanis Language Solutions began in a single room with just 10 local students… and a few more joining us online from Australia and Singapore. From those early days, our vision has stayed clear — no matter where you're from or what level you're starting at, English fluency is possible.
Today, Kanis is more than just a training centre. It's a space where children discover the joy of writing to Percy Jackson and Harry Potter, where working professionals find their confidence, where parents no longer worry about school warnings, and where every learner feels seen, heard, and guided.

Kanis is also where you'll find what’s missing elsewhere — a complete English-speaking environment. Most of our students, from school-goers to seasoned professionals, tell us: "Outside this classroom, we don't get to speak English at all."
